Who are we?

Having previously traded as a sole trader, DDL Civils was incorporated on the 16th January 2013, . Although the company is relatively young its core management hold some 80 years experience in Civil Engineering.

Its target market are mainly the MOD Estates and the Civil Aviation Estates and are recognized as main contractors with a new contract just awarded this year for 5 years.

The services that DDL Civils offer are in the main directed at maintenance to airfields and Tech Sites (roads and runways). Such services are offered as a package or individually and include, Surfacing Works, Line Marking, Specialist Surface Treatments, Joint Sealing, Over Banding, Slurry Sealing, Concreting and Tar Mac Repairs etc. Whilst the company enjoys the day to day business of completing the monthly maintenance reports to the estates, it also gets involved with larger individual projects.

The management are strictly focused on company growth, maintaining targets that are manageable and achievable together with a high standard of products and services.

Loan Offers

What is the loan for?

The Loan is to be used for two purposes.

Firstly, as the company has grown there is a need to move to offices, therefore approx £12,000 of the loan will be used to obtain and furnish suitable office space, together with putting together the appropriate IT and build a website.

The remainder of the loan will be used to purchase new plant machinery that is needed to enable the business to service the contracts. The company has historically rented some smaller plant machinery, however feel it is now time to purchase in order save the on going and increasing costs of hire.

The company is growing at a steady pace and have never missed a payment on a loan or credit agreement.

Notes on Accounts

Dividends of £28,000 were paid in 2014 and £80,000 in the six months to September 2014.

Security

The loan is to be secured by an All Assets Debenture and a Directors Guarantee. The Current debenture held by Ashley Finance will be cleared on completion to allow the filing of the rebs debenture.
